Definitive closure

Dear friends,

These few lines are to announce that Drum Accessories will have to leave its premises at the end of March. Negotiations with the owners have broken down, and I’m forced to leave. Once I’ve handed back the keys, I’m going to take a big break and find a fallback solution for the equipment that will remain in storage, then try to find a way to come back with a new formula, more focused on the shop’s strong departments, i.e. vintage store, restoration-repair and rental. I’ll still be available if you need me for these services, as well as for home-studio-gigs interventions (tuning and others) even after I’ve left Pâquis. But then, no more sales or orders, unless the distributors keep their trust and continue to work with me.
As a result, in order to be able to find time to prepare for what’s to come, I’m forced to switch to an appointment-based system, and to close the doors of the shop as of next week, January 16. In the coming weeks, I’ll certainly be organizing occasional openings for afternoon liquidations, and two workshops are still being organized.
As you can imagine, there’s no joy on my side. But I’m still working hard to find a way of getting things up and running as quickly as possible.
Many thanks to ALL of you for your support.
